Well the candle making has been going ok. I have made some giant assumptions that weren't quite right, but am learning BIG TIME that soap making doesn't automatically make you a candle maker! My candles are not looking too bad, as my glass cutting/finishing techniques improve a lot with practice. They don't smell bad either, and seem to last for absolutely AGES. I am currently burning one that is 1/2 wine bottle, so about 25hrs burn time, with the fragrance "lily of the valley". The fragrance permeates the entire house, and we have quite a large house - so much so that my husband even noticed! I have been pleasantly surprised. *GRIN* Here is a photo of the candle burning - quite romantic I thought, although photographer I am not. I should leave that to my photographer brother Rob

Marcelle has decided not to be a part of handmade cabin so her lovely candles will no longer be stocked here. Position vacant! Otherwise I will take up the slack and make the candles myself. Soy of course, to be sustainable and ethical. Already my mind is rocketing along with possibilities using my soap molds??
