Coming up to winter
Many people find that their skin dries out much more in the drier months of the Australian winter. Itchiness, redness, cracking and sometimes bleeding can all be side effects of this dryness. We have found, since I started making soap, that we just don't have that problem any more. Particularly using the olive oil soaps, both liquid and bar soaps, there is a definite improvement in the quality of our skins.
As a wildlife carer, I wash my hands constantly throughout the day, and used to get the itchy, cracked and bleeding problem on my hands, particularly between my fingers. I don't get that any more. My hands are always moisturised, cant say they are lovely hands, but at least I don't scratch them, or suffer from sore hands any longer.

Soap Snippets available now. These are the endy bits, or the ugly bits or the bits I cut up too small, or even end of run soaps. I used to give them away as samples at markets, but now I don't' do markets, it is a bit more difficult unless people actually come into the shop.
Happy to give away soap snippets if anyone is willing to pay for the postage. You can have them as they are (blocks of odd shapes, flavours, colours and sizes), or I can grate them, julienne them, or shave them for you. Great for making your own liquid soaps, laundry liquid, scenting your cupboards or cutting up for guest soaps. You are limited by your imagination!
